Named for the Mountains We Call Home
Organ Mountain Goat Dairy is a small family farm established in 2025 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We named our farm after the Organ Mountains — the jagged, dramatic peaks that rise above the city and define the landscape of southern New Mexico.
We're a personal, small-scale operation. Our goats are raised with care, and our milk is available fresh for pickup by arrangement. When you buy from us, you're buying directly from the family that tends these animals every day.
We started with a simple goal: give our neighbors in the Las Cruces area access to fresh, locally produced raw goat milk — with the kind of personal connection that only a small farm can offer.
The Organ Mountains
The Organ Mountains are a stunning range of rocky peaks that rise dramatically from the Chihuahuan Desert east of Las Cruces. Their jagged silhouette — said to resemble the pipes of a cathedral organ — is one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of New Mexico.
Designated as part of the Organ Mountains–Desert Peaks National Monument, these mountains are visible from much of the Las Cruces area — including from our farm. They're a daily reminder of the beauty and character of this corner of the Southwest.
We chose this name because it reflects where we are and who we are: rooted in Las Cruces, proud of our landscape, and committed to producing something local and real.
